Naib Singh (Ludhiana, Punjab)

He is 23 years old and he works for an air conditioning company. He believes in the saying “No Pain, No Gain”. He has grown up facing enormous problems, but he always had the determination to do something big in his life. A life filled with passion. When he joined an engineering college in 2009, he had many negative thoughts because he was not able to speak even a single word of English. So, people made fun of him, but he did not give up and took all criticism in a positive manner and started working on himself. He left no stone unturned to change his life. He worked on his communication skills, technical skills and interpersonal skills, and slowly started to feel positive about his life. Finally, the day came when he was able to speak English fluently and able to interact with everyone confidently. Soon people started accepting him in their friend circles. But he did not stop. While everyone around him kept telling him that it was impossible to win, he participated in the 14th National Level Quiz competition held in Mumbai in 2013. He won that competition and a cash price Rs. 50,000. Soon he got a call for a job in a prestigious air conditioning company. He feels that having a passion and then following the same is the key to his handsome life.

Puneet Jain (Bangalore, Karnataka)

He was addicted to computer games in his 8th standard. He spent nights "leveling-up" (moving up in the game) and days dozing off in the class at school. That year, with a few friends from Netherlands, he set-up his first online game. To put it to test, he put it in a cyber café, that he considered his second home. The game was an instant hit with people from different cyber cafes trying every possible way to get it on their PCs! At that time, they needed about 15 Lakhs to take the game across India, and he was hoping Zapak, the best gaming company back then, would help them make it work. But it all crashed, when he failed in 5 subjects in his 8th standard and his dad asked him to drop his "bad habit". But it was his dad who was there for him and gave him the support he needed. He was 'pushed' to state medium so that he could clear the 10th grade. Nothing changed for the others, but he had to give-up on everything he had built over 400 nights! He breezed through the 9th grade as it was very easy, but 10th standard was a very pressuring year for him. Society, relatives, teachers, friends, they all had one thing in mind- the Board Exam! Study, study, study! So study is what he did (only after a heart-crunching breakup mid year) and he graduated with 93%, topping his class. It has been four years now, and he has a two-year-old startup, which he and his friend started in the 12th grade, with just 20 rupees. Moreover, his upcoming book is getting published in June 2016, by the world’s fastest growing publisher! All in all, he is living a #Handsomelife, though it hasn't been easy for him to reach this far. He is proud of all his pranks, failures, wins and nothings! He is on his way to achieve something big! He feels meeting Hrithik Roshan would just be the beginning.

Nikhil Swatantra (Noida)

Life was pretty simple for him until something terrifying happened. His father, a passionate musician, passed away. At that moment, he dreamt of doing something that he loved, music. So, he decided to try endlessly until he reached his goal. To achieve this he switched from a patent research job to the musical world. His passion for music is what drives him to lead a Handsome Life.

Sagar Nayna Thakkar (Mumbai, Maharashtra)

His story is about his dreams to touch the void. By void he means the highest places on earth. It all started with a dream to achieve 7 summits (highest places on each continent) and it takes a lot of courage to even think about it.

His experiences are full of so many unparalleled sufferings and surprising adventures, that he feels that the majority of people would find it as an exaggeration. But as they say, to get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. He has travelled all alone from Nairobi, Kenya to Moshi,Tanzania to attempt Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the tallest freestanding mountain in the world, rising in breathtaking isolation from the surrounding coastal scrubland elevation with the mercury dipping to -11 degree Celsius at times. It took him 5 long days to finally touch the summit of mount Kilimanjaro. This is just the beginning, his journey continues.

Saurabh Chatterjee (Hyderabad, Telangana)

Working as an IT professional Saurabh kept travelling to a lot of places in India and clicking pictures. In this process, he acquired in-depth knowledge about places and how to take good pictures and started teaching photography. In a short period of time, he got popular as a Photography teacher. Then he decided to quit his job and get into full-time teaching photography. He has taught over 3000 people of different age groups initially only in his city, Hyderabad but eventually started venturing out to other cities like Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Nagpur. And then he decided to go global.

Through online classes he took his teachings to people across the world. To combine his interest of travelling, photography and teaching together, he started taking people for photo-tours to different places around India like Ladakh, Spiti Valley, Himachal etc. to name a few.

Now, he has quit his job and he goes to Himalayas 3 to 4 times in a year. He loves the flexibility and freedom to follow his passion.

This year, he was honored with the award for “The Best Trainer in Photography” in India. He also loves working with NGOs, giving them the much needed support. Last year, during the Nepal earthquake disaster, he along with his friend did some exhibitions for fundraising to help the needy people and were able to raise 2 Lakhs. This money was sent to Nepal to reconstruct schools. He has also made a calendar out of his photography collection and already sold 100 copies. Earnings from this will be donated to Youth for Seva, another NGO he is associated with. He also teaches photography to kids in Government schools to give them an exposure to Photography as a career.

His pictures have also been published in leading magazines like the National Geographic and Lonely Planet. In all, he is living his life the way he dreamt of and that’s just because he believed in himself and dared to do.

SHAKEEF KHAN (Mumbai, Maharashtra)

His parents paid a heavy sum to get him into engineering with expectations of getting a good campus recruitment after 3 years. But his mind was conceiving a dream of being an entrepreneur since the age of 18. It was a tough call for his parents to fund his business and support his decision of not opting for a job. In 3 years, he switched 2 businesses and pivoted thrice in his second business, and now he is going strong with Yute.in with the help of his parent’s money minus any external funding. In due course, he also got an opportunity to share his journey, from being a stutter, to an orator and an entrepreneur with more than 4000 young grads. Even today, he breathes entrepreneurship and works hard to realize his passion, thus, leading a Handsome Life.

Sreehari Ajith (Hyderabad, Telangana)

He is an aspiring actor from Hyderabad, who, while doing his engineering, realised that engineering was not what he wanted to do all his life. So he started doing theatre, as acting was something he always wanted to do. After having completed his engineering course, as is expected of a regular kid, he had to join an IT company. So he got into IBM while simultaneously doing theatre, which meant double shifts, with just 3 hours sleep in the office restroom and rehearsal space. This continued for 13 months. It was a huge struggle for him to make it to the acting paradise "NSD", that too without any leaves and long working hours. As he was not able to complete the required number of productions needed to qualify for selection, he got rejected. But as luck would have it, admissions in NSD Bangalore were announced and this time he pulled up his socks and decided not to let the opportunity go in vain. He quit his job way before the auditions began and completed the required number of productions, as he thought “this was Now or Never ". While everyone at home kept telling me that it was foolish of him to give up a stable job at IBM for a shot at NSD, he kept toiling. Soon he joined NSD. One year at NSD undoubtedly was the best year of his life despite all the little hardships he went. It’s been over 2 months since the completion of the course and his struggle still continues. He has been doing plays in Hyderabad and can still join his company back and lead a "normal" life, yet he chooses to live a life beyond that comfort zone. He is determined to realize his passion and to live his dream.

Utkarsh Singh Rajput (New Delhi)

He always dreamt to be fit and have a great physique. But his health issues used to hinder him to go after his dreams. During his school days, his life was miserable, because of health related problems. While his friends enjoyed their weekends, his were spent at the doctor's clinic. Then came the decision to choose his career. He took admission in an engineering college. But then the same health problems followed him to college. Surrounded by health issues, he had a tough time in engineering. It was during his last year that he realized that he had to do something about it. Then he came across a wonderful motivational story that was a turning point for him. This was the before and after pictures of none other than the superstar, “Hrithik Roshan”. He was so motivated that he made up his mind to beat his illness. He started with a lifestyle change and started working out. It was really difficult for him, as prolonged illness had taken a real toll on his health. So he started with baby steps, and with sheer diligence and consistency, he got better and healthier. Motivation was key to his determination, so he used to read motivational stories. As they say, " People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing. That's why we recommend it daily”. Today, he enjoys life like never before and fitness is his goal as it’s something that makes him happy. Because of his transformation, his friends were motivated and they started working out too. He feels so happy that he is able to motivate others. He believes that motivating others and getting motivated by others constitutes a handsome life.
